Job Qualifications:
Technical & Systems Oversight
Manage core IT infrastructure, networks, school portals, Google Workspace, and communication platforms. Oversee cybersecurity measures, data backups, and Data Privacy Policy compliance (CCTV, internet, and social media).
Serve as primary administrator for institutional accounts, social media platforms, and HRIS (timekeeping, recruitment, performance modules). Oversee website design and updates.
Evaluate and execute hardware/software upgrades, migrations, reconfigurations, and system implementations.
Maintain accurate inventories of all hardware/software and manage cost-effective procurement.
Departmental Leadership & Staff Management
Lead, mentor, and direct daily activities for IT/MIS staff.
Conduct interviews, onboarding, performance appraisals, feedback sessions, and targeted developmental plans.
Design and implement training programs for IT staff, as well as institutional staff on hardware, software, and compliance.
Manage daily department workflow, set goals, and prepare, track, and monitor the annual IT budget.
Collaborate with department heads, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver technical support, user orientation, and system analytics reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional IT/Software certifications or educational institution/teaching background is a plus.
At least 2–3 years of experience in an MIS or IT management role (experience in an educational setting preferred).
Hands-on knowledge of network administration, systems infrastructure, cybersecurity, and HRIS platforms.
Proven ability to manage, train, and evaluate staff effectively.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users and present data-driven reports to management.
Strong project management, analytical troubleshooting, budgeting, and resource allocation skills.
