About the role

The MIS / ICT Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, maintenance, and security of the organization's information systems and ICT infrastructure. This role ensures efficient IT operations, supports business systems, and assists in driving digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications:

Formal Education / Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Experience

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in IT operations, MIS, or ICT roles

• At least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of networking, servers, databases, and cloud technologies

• Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, MIS platforms)

• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and tools

• Understanding of ITIL, COBIT, or similar frameworks is an advantage

• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)

• Familiarity with data governance and quality standards

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities

• Must be willing to respond to on-call duties anytime of the day.
