Job summary

SPX Philippines Inc. is seeking a seasoned Middle Mile Operations Supervisor to oversee daily dispatch planning from sorting centers to regional hubs.

You will optimize routes, monitor fleet performance, and ensure SLA compliance while addressing delays and driver issues. You will lead the Middle Mile Coordinators, coordinate with the Supply team, and drive on-time dispatch and cost-efficient transport solutions in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics or transportation, preferably in middle mile operations.
• 3+ years of supervisory-level experience in operations or transport management.
• Familiar with Philippine geography and areas with truck ban regulations.
• People management experience with direct supervision.
• Strong analytical and productivity-management skills.
• Proficient in English and Filipino communications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily truck dispatch planning and allocation from sorting centers to regional hubs.
• Ensure optimal truck utilization with efficient routes, backloads, and trip assignments.
• Monitor fleet availability, performance, and SLA compliance.
• Maintain high delivery compliance and minimize turnaround time.
• Address delays, breakdowns, and driver performance issues promptly.
• Coordinate with Supply team for truck supply and issue resolution.
• Track KPIs: on-time dispatch, transit compliance, cost efficiency, truck attendance.
• Lead Middle Mile Coordinators/Allocators and guide execution priorities.
• Ensure team understands operational priorities and plans.
• Optimize use of low-cost/controlled trucks (wet/dry lease) to reduce costs.
• Prepare regular MM performance and truck-issues reports.
• Support campaign planning and adjust resources as needed.
