Job summary

Insight is seeking a Software Licensing Operations Consultant to work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Customers to ensure accurate licensing processing, compliance, and value delivery. You will be the subject-matter expert in Microsoft volume licensing, collaborating with clients and sales teams to capture requirements and present solutions.

You'll perform detailed cost–benefit analyses, identify renewals and upsell opportunities, and support Microsoft agreement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training with related experience.
• 3+ years supporting Microsoft Volume Licensing sales and lifecycle.
• Ability to read and interpret complex licensing documents.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in changing environments.
• Proficient use of Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME in Microsoft licensing and present licensing information via emails, presentations and calls.
• Engage clients and sales teams to understand requirements and recommend solutions.
• Provide cost–benefit analyses of licensing options to optimize outcomes.
• Identify opportunities including renewals, true-ups, net new business and upsell.
• Support Microsoft agreement lifecycles and maintain licensing dashboards.
