Job summary

Insight Enterprises, Inc. in Pasig, Philippines is seeking a Software Licensing Advisor to join our cross-functional team.

You will work with Sales, SLCs, Account Executives, Finance, Procurement and Customers to ensure accurate licensing solutions and compliant delivery. As the subject matter expert in Microsoft licensing, you will analyze requirements, present solutions, perform cost-benefit analyses, and support renewals, true-ups and upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or evidence of role-specific training.
• Minimum 3 years providing direct support for Microsoft Volume Licensing sales and support lifecycle.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and respond to sensitive inquiries.
• Thrives in changing requirements with focus on operational objectives.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience as a Subject Matter Expert in a product or service.
• Ability to present complex information clearly.
• Ability to retain licensing and process information.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint skills.
• Willingness to achieve Microsoft Certifications within 6 months of joining.
• Hybrid work setup: 1 day in office, 4 days remote.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in Microsoft licensing, presenting information via emails, presentations, spreadsheets, and conference calls.
• Engage directly with clients and sales teams to understand requirements, support decision-making, and recommend tailored licensing solutions.
• Provide detailed cost-benefit analyses of licensing options to achieve optimal customer outcomes.
• Identify and support business opportunities, including renewals, true-ups, net new business, and upsell opportunities.
• Assist in closing business opportunities in partnership with Clients and Sales teams.
• Provide measurable data and reporting on key performance indicators, including renewal and true-up status.
• Assist in driving Microsoft agreement lifecycles to maximise customer value.
• Demonstrate understanding of Microsoft Master Agreements and licensing programs.
• Accurately process transactions against existing or new agreements.
• Utilize and maintain internal systems (ELD, Smart, SharePoint, VLC, MPSA) and troubleshoot data issues.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and turnaround times in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Procurement, Customer Support, Product managers and Representatives for product awareness and competitive positioning.
