Job summary

Moderna Mexico seeks a Senior Manager, Finance to lead statutory, financial and tax activities for the affiliate and to serve as the company’s authorized Legal Representative. The role partners with local teams to ensure robust governance, risk management and accurate financial reporting.

The position also acts as a strategic Finance partner to the Latin America region, delivering insights, planning and cross‑functional collaboration across regulatory, payroll and treasury functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, Business Administration or related discipline.
• CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years in Mexican finance, tax, accounting, payroll or statutory roles.
• Experience with SAT requirements, e‑Firma and local tax filings.
• Ability to interact with authorities, banks and external advisors.

Responsibilities

• Act as the authorized Legal Representative for Moderna Mexico and manage power of attorney.
• Lead local tax filings, statutory communications and accounting oversight.
• Oversee payroll, social security filings and related employer obligations.
• Establish and manage local banking relationships and treasury controls.
• Coordinate with Trade Compliance on customs obligations and value declarations.
• Provide financial governance and decision support to the Mexico Commercial org.
