Job summary

TikTok is seeking an Accounting Manager/Senior Manager to lead the Mexico entity's accounting operations. The role focuses on establishing scalable processes, ensuring local regulatory compliance, and supporting business growth in a fast-paced tech environment.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Mexican GAAP and IFRS, CPA certification, and bilingual fluency. You will work with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in tech/e-commerce or multinational companies.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican GAAP and IFRS; proficient in financial statement prep and statutory reporting.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English for collaboration with local and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations for TikTok's Mexico entity, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Design, implement, and optimize accounting processes and internal controls to support operations.
• Apply IFRS and Mexican GAAP to complex transactions and new initiatives.
• Collaborate with business, legal, tax, and treasury to address accounting implications.
• Manage relationships with local accounting firms, tax advisors, and auditors for compliance.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to address audit findings.
