Multinational Pharmaceutical Company in Mexico City is seeking an experienced Medical Manager to lead Medical Affairs activities within the affiliate, providing strategic medical support and building strong scientific relationships.

You will oversee Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor a local medical team and collaborate with Sales, Regulatory, and Quality.

Qualifications

  • MD is required with valid professional registration.
  • Minimum 3 years in Medical Manager roles in pharma.
  • Experience managing people and developing teams.
  • Solid knowledge of Pharmacovigilance and drug safety.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • International experience is an advantage.
  • MBA or additional business education is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Medical Affairs activities in Mexico, contributing to the affiliate's strategic business objectives.
  • Provide medical and scientific support to the company's business units.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Medical Experts, Healthcare Professionals, Medical Societies and scientific organizations.
  • Represent the company in scientific meetings and medical forums, providing scientific expertise and identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnerships.
  • Ensure appropriate execution and oversight of Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance activities in accordance with local regulations, applicable laws and company procedures.
  • Oversee the local medical portfolio and support pharmacovigilance reporting and compliance activities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Business Development, HR, Legal and Finance.
  • Lead, develop and motivate the Medical team, providing direction, coaching and feedback while fostering talent development.
  • Serve as a key medical-scientific representative of the company within the local healthcare community.

A Multinational Pharmaceutical Company is looking for an experienced and dynamic Medical Manager to lead its Medical Affairs activities in Mexico.

The role will be responsible for providing strategic and scientific medical support to the business, strengthening relationships with the medical and scientific community, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and leading Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience
  • Medical Doctor (MD) degree with valid professional registration.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Medical Manager roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Previous experience managing people and developing teams.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in Pharmacovigilance and drug safety.
  • Strong understanding of applicable local pharmaceutical regulations and requirements.
  • Knowledge of the relevant therapeutic areas is desirable.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • International experience is considered an advantage.
  • MBA or additional business education is desirable.
