Job summary

Live Payments is seeking a Merchant Security Specialist to safeguard merchant accounts and transactions. You will monitor, analyze, and respond to suspicious activity, manage chargebacks, and collaborate with risk teams to strengthen fraud prevention.

You will educate merchants on security best practices, review merchant applications for compliance, and stay ahead of evolving fraud techniques with the latest tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in merchant security, fraud prevention, or chargeback management is desirable.
• Strong data analysis skills to identify patterns and anomalies.
• Knowledge of fraud detection tools and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review merchant transactions to identify suspicious or fraudulent activity.
• Analyze transaction data and trends to detect fraud and prevent losses.
• Investigate and resolve chargebacks with internal teams and merchants.
• Collaborate with Risk Management to implement fraud prevention policies.
• Investigate security breaches and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide reports on fraud trends and metrics to management.
• Educate merchants on security best practices and chargeback management.
• Review merchant applications for security and risk compliance.
• Develop merchant security training materials and programs.
