Chargeblast is seeking a Payments Strategy Associate to help e‑commerce merchants optimize payment performance and reduce disputes. You will analyze merchant data, review processor setups, and present actionable recommendations to merchants and internal stakeholders.

The role demands hands-on experience in chargeback management and payment operations, comfort with data, and strong communication to stakeholders across teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in chargebacks, disputes, payments, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of chargeback and dispute management processes.
• Familiarity with major payment networks and pre-dispute alert programs.
• Working knowledge of payment processors and platforms such as Stripe, Shopify Payments, Checkout.com, Adyen.

Responsibilities

• Analyze merchant chargeback, dispute, pre‑dispute alert, and payment data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Review merchant performance across products to identify potential payment or chargeback risks.
• Develop data‑driven recommendations to reduce chargebacks and improve approval/recovery outcomes.
• Evaluate merchant payment setups, including processors, MIDs, descriptors, card networks, and transaction flows.
• Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for merchants and internal teams.
• Present findings in merchant meetings and steer strategic recommendations.
