Job summary
Pine Labs in the Philippines seeks a seasoned operations leader to drive merchant onboarding, risk management, and SLA performance across payments and digital services. You will own complex processes end-to-end and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize the merchant lifecycle.
You will lead onboarding (KYC/AML, risk underwriting, daily monitoring), manage settlements, chargebacks and disputes, and ensure audit-ready processes.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of core operations experience in payments/fintech/merchant acquiring.
- 3–5 years in a managerial or team lead capacity, regional governance preferred.
- Deep knowledge of merchant onboarding, risk underwriting, settlements, chargebacks, and payment rails.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, operations, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Serve as internal Voice of the Merchant, gathering feedback to improve digital service models and dashboards.
- Identify bottlenecks to reduce TAT and optimize the merchant lifecycle.
- Own merchant onboarding including KYC/AML checks and risk underwriting; monitor daily transactions and disputes.
- Oversee SLA adherence and operational/field deliverables across settlements and onboarding support.
- Collaborate with Product and Tech to optimize payment routing via APIs/SDKs/POS terminals.
- Lead AI/RPA-led transformations and readiness for system migrations and upgrades.
