Job summary

BukuWarung is seeking a Retail Sales Executive to acquire new merchants and foster strong relationships as part of BukuPay adoption in the Manila area. The role requires field activity, merchant education, and proactive engagement to reach targets.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in payments or related sectors, a strong merchant network, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. Willingness to travel and perform regular field visits is essential.

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in payments, fintech, FMCG, telecoms, or banking with a focus on merchant acquisition.
Good understanding of QRPh, EDC, and/or POS systems is a plus.
Proven track record of acquiring merchants in local markets.

Responsibilities

Acquire new merchants offline and online within the assigned area.
Promote BukuPay products (QRPh, EDC, POS) to merchants.
Conduct regular field visits to activate and ensure merchant usage and satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants to drive retention and growth.
Manage the merchant acquisition pipeline and provide sales progress reports.
Identify market potential and expansion opportunities within the territory.
Coordinate with internal teams to support onboarding and address merchant needs.
Ensure acquisition quality in line with company standards.
