Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming medical supplies.
• Check quantities, specifications, expiration dates, and condition of supplies.
• Properly store and organize supplies according to established standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify items that need replenishment.
• Issue medical supplies to hospital departments upon authorized request.
• Maintain accurate records of received, issued, returned, and remaining supplies.
• Apply FIFO/FEFO inventory practices when appropriate.
• Monitor expiration dates and report expired or damaged supplies.
• Prepare supply requisitions and assist with inventory counts.
• Keep the central supply room clean, orderly, and secure.
