The role involves processing and organizing medical records requests, verifying authorizations before releasing PHI, and coordinating with clinical, billing, and legal teams to ensure efficient service and strict HIPAA compliance.

Ideal candidates will have experience in medical records or healthcare administration, knowledge of HIPAA/PHI handling, and familiarity with EHR/EMR

Qualifications

• Experience in medical records, healthcare administration, or healthcare BPO.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI handling.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth.
• ROI/documentation compliance experience is an advantage.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Process and organize medical records requests.
• Verify authorizations before releasing PHI.
• Identify missing or incomplete documentation.
