Job summary

MEPF Construction, Building Services & Fit-Out Projects is seeking a results-driven Mechanical Project Engineer / Project-In-Charge to lead on-site execution of mechanical and MEPF works for medium- to high-rise developments and fit-out projects.

You will drive projects from mobilization through testing, commissioning, turnover, and client acceptance, while supervising teams, coordinating with clients and contractors, and ensuring adherence to QA/QC and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC registered) is required.
• 3–4 years or more in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, or MEPF construction.
• Experience as Project Engineer, Project-In-Charge, or Site Engineer.
• Knowledge of QA/QC, testing, commissioning, and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of mechanical and MEPF works on-site.
• Supervise site engineers, foremen, subcontractors and trades.
• Develop and manage baselines, look-ahead, and recovery schedules.
• Monitor progress, manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, GCs, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, methodologies, and QA/QC.
• Review subcontractor billings prior to approval.
• Manage testing, commissioning, inspections, and closeout.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Drive turnover and COC, enforce HSE on-site.

We're looking for a results-driven Mechanical Project Engineer / Project-In-Charge to lead the execution, coordination, and delivery of mechanical and MEPF works for medium- to high-rise developments and fit-out projects. This role is responsible for driving projects from mobilization through testing & commissioning, turnover, and client acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of mechanical and MEPF works on-site
• Supervise site engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and specialty trades
• Develop and manage baseline, look-ahead, and recovery schedules to keep projects on track
• Monitor project progress, manpower productivity, materials, and equipment utilization
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, general contractors, and project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved methodologies, and QA/QC requirements
• Review and validate subcontractor and supplier billings prior to approval
• Manage testing & commissioning activities, inspections, punch listing, and project closeout requirements
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
• Drive project completion and turnover, including Certificate of Completion (COC) requirements
• Enforce HSE standards and promote a strong safety culture on-site

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC Registered) - required
• At least 3-4 years of experience in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, or MEPF construction projects
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer, Project-In-Charge, or Site Engineer
• Strong background in medium- to high-rise buildings, commercial developments, residential towers, or fit-out projects
• Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
• Knowledgeable in testing & commissioning, QA/QC processes, and Philippine building codes and standards
• Strong leadership, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Able to manage project delivery while maintaining quality, schedule, cost, and safety objectives
