About the role
JCAP Construction is seeking an experienced MEPF and Architectural Project Manager to join our dynamic project management team. This is a full-time position based in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection (MEPF) and architectural works on construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, whilst managing stakeholder relationships and leading cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and coordinate all MEPF and architectural works to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery
- Monitor project progress against approved timelines, budgets and quality standards, implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Manage and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations
- Review and approve technical drawings, shop drawings and specifications for MEPF and architectural components
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to identify issues, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress records, variation orders and correspondence
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve conflicts professionally
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations on site
- Manage project budgets and prepare cost reports, change orders and budget forecasts
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as required
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with substantial exposure to MEPF and architectural projects
- Strong knowledge of MEPF systems, architectural specifications, construction methodologies and building codes applicable in the Philippines
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office and construction management tools
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Professional Engineering License or relevant certifications in project management are advantageous
