Responsibilities

• Oversees the operation of a store's meat area.
• Supervises department staff including training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Coordinates with Buying and Receiving on orders and delivery schedules.
• Creates production plans to ensure proper quantity projections.
• Checks quality and freshness across displays and back rooms.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards and cleaning procedures.
• Handles member service, complaints, and ensures quality service.
• Implements sales promotions and timely merchandising.
• Monitors inventory and ensures system shows accurate stock.
• Controls department expenses without compromising service.
• Conducts market research and provides management with improvement feedback.
• Coordinates with Maintenance for equipment PMs and repairs.
• Performs additional tasks as assigned.
