Job summary

ACCIONA – DMCI JV in the Philippines seeks a QA/QC Inspector to review and approve materials submittals, data sheets, and samples from contractors; verify compliance with project specs, internal standards, and client requirements; oversee sampling and field tests.

You will maintain daily logs, monitor material procurement and handling, identify non-conforming materials, issue NCRs, and liaise with independent labs to verify test reports, reporting to the Quality Manager on quality concerns.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve materials submittals, technical data sheets and samples from contractors.
• Verify compliance of materials with project specifications, internal standards (ASTM,AASHTO,PNS,ISO etc.) and client requirements.
• Supervise the quality work and quality work and witnessing the laboratory and field test during the construction of all materials.
• Maintain a record or logbook of daily activities ready for inspections anytime.
• Monitor contractor's materials procurement, storage, handling and installation procedures to ensure quality and traceability.
• Identify non-conforming materials, issue NCRs (Non-conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Taking care if QA/QC Documents such as lab tests results, certificates, inspection request, non-conformance report and site instructions
• Liaise with independent testing laboratories and verify test reports.
• Check/inspects quality standards for test inspection, and evaluation.
• Reporting to the Quality Manager for any concerns related to quality issue.
