Job summary

Link Energie seeks a Materials Engineer to support QA/QC on material quality and construction activities. You will work with Management to identify supply needs, optimize processes, and manage inventory and distribution.

The role requires 2+ years in Materials Management, 6 months to 1 year supervisory experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Field work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, preferably licensed.
• 2+ years experience in Materials Management; 6 months to 1 year supervisory experience.
• Strong prioritization amid shifting demands and timelines.
• Ability to make informed decisions and solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality of materials and construction activities.
• Identify supply needs with Management.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce waste and increase quantity.
• Record and assess materials quality, movement, and expenditure.
• Manage distribution of supplies within the organization.
• Monitor inventory levels and access to materials.
• Collaborate with Management to plan forecasting models.
• Perform write-offs on damaged/obsolete inventory to reflect accurate value.
• Coordinate with Procurement to schedule delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Establish procedures for year-end physical inventory valuation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Record and assess all materials' quality, movement, and expenditure.
• Manage the distribution of supplies in the organization.
• Monitor inventory elvels and access to the materials.
• Collaborate with Management to plan forecasting models.
• Performs write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect the accurate value of inventory.
• Works with the Procurement Department to schedule delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Establishes procdures for conducting and valuing year-end physical inventory.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, preferably a licensed Engineer
• Must have at least two (2) years of related work experience as Materials Management, At least 6 months to 1 year Supervisory experience
• Effective in task prioritization while taking into account shifting demands and timelines
• Ability tomake informed decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Willing to do field work as needed
