Job summary

EEI Power is seeking a Civil Engineer with strong quality control and materials testing expertise to oversee testing plans, calibrations, and audits across projects in the Philippines.

The role focuses on evaluating concrete and asphalt designs, reviewing specifications, and ensuring adherence to testing procedures while coordinating with the Project Manager and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the field.
• Certified DPWH/BRS Materials Engineer II.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update the Quality Control Testing Plan.
• Review plans and specifications; recommend materials based on design intent.
• Conduct surveillance audits on testing procedures and processes.
• Monitor calibration of precision tools and equipment.
• Oversee material testing from sampling to evaluation.
• Ensure testing frequency aligns with the QCTP.
• Collate test results and sign monthly Materials Engineer's Report.
• Guide FOG to ensure correct site work.
• Manage client inquiries regarding material testing.
• Prepare/review Concrete Mix and Asphalt Designs.
• Report quality status to Quality Control In-charge and Project Manager.
