Marketplace Sales Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Marketplace Sales Specialist to handle the day-to-day selling operations across Facebook Marketplace and other online selling channels.

This role combines product listing, customer chat, order processing, and delivery coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, comfortable using online platforms, and able to understand products well enough to explain them clearly to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace & Product Listings

• Create, update, and maintain product listings on Facebook Marketplace and other online platforms
• Upload product photos, videos, titles, descriptions, specifications, and pricing
• Keep listings accurate and updated based on available inventory
• Improve product listings to attract inquiries and generate sales

Customer Chat & Sales

• Respond to customer inquiries through Facebook Messenger and other chat platforms
• Answer product questions and provide accurate product information
• Recommend suitable products based on customer needs
• Provide prices, availability, and ordering instructions
• Convert inquiries into confirmed orders
• Follow up with customers when necessary

Order Processing & Delivery

• Confirm customer orders and collect the necessary order details
• Prepare orders for fulfillment
• Book Grab, Lalamove, or other courier services
• Coordinate pickup and delivery with customers and couriers
• Monitor delivery status and communicate updates to customers
• Handle basic order concerns, returns, replacements, and after-sales inquiries

Inventory & Platform Operations

• Coordinate with the warehouse regarding product availability
• Update product availability on listings
• Monitor pending, completed, cancelled, and delivered orders
• Maintain accurate records of online orders and customer transactions

Ideal Candidate

• Comfortable using Facebook Marketplace, Facebook Messenger, and other online platforms
• Good written communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Fast and responsive when handling customer inquiries
• Able to learn and explain different products
• Basic computer and smartphone skills
• Can work independently and follow established processes
• Sales-oriented but customer-friendly
• Experience in online selling, e-commerce, Marketplace, or customer service is an advantage
