JOB PURPOSE
The E-Commerce Accounts Specialist owns the day-to-day execution of the assigned brand's marketplace accounts, working under the guidance of the E-Commerce Account Manager to hit agreed net sales and platform KPIs. The role monitors daily sales and execution, supports the joint business plan with platform partners, tracks campaign and in-app ads performance, and coordinates with internal teams (fulfillment/allocation, customer service, merchandising) and external partners (platform account teams, and agency partners) to keep the account competitive at the point of purchase.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Conduct daily sales and execution checks across the assigned brand's marketplace accounts.
- Builds and tracks a joint plan with platform partners to hit agreed targets.
- Coordinate affiliate and live-selling scheduling and day-to-day operations.
- Track platform campaign participation (e.g. major mega-campaigns, in-app paid ads optimizations) and flag performance gaps.
- Monitor in-app marketing solutions performance and store promotions effectiveness/efficiency.
- Perform competitive scanning on assortment, pricing, store merchandising, and offers.
- Prepare order and demand forecasts for the fulfillment team to support consistent in-stock rates.
- Monitor chat response and reviews management against platform SLA targets.
- Support Go-to-Market recommendations and provide input on selling-agency performance.
- Escalate store operations, demand fulfillment, and accounts reconciliation issues to the relevant internal teams and follow through to resolution.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce operations, marketplace account management, retail/trade marketing, or a related analytical role; fresh graduates with strong relevant internship experience may be considered.
- Prior exposure to fashion/apparel retail or FMCG e-commerce is a plus.
Required Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of marketplace seller tools (Shopee Seller Centre, Lazada Seller Center, TikTok Shop Seller Center, Zalora Seller Center) or demonstrated ability to learn platform back-ends quickly.
- Comfortable reading and acting on sales and performance dashboards; intermediate Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
- Understanding of core e-commerce KPIs: net sales achievement, platform fees as a % of sales, share of growth (SOG), and fulfillment/chat SLA.
- Basic grasp of pricing and promo mechanics, including free/discounted traffic levers such as FTLs, barters, and subsidies.
- Ability to track and interpret marketplace campaign and in-app ads performance data.
- Familiarity with inventory and demand-forecasting concepts and store replenishment cycles.
- Basic reporting and presentation skills (Excel, PowerPoint, or Google Slides) for account status updates.
- Exposure to Shopify and/or POS systems (e.g. Barter) is an advantage.
