We're looking for a highly organized, creative, and execution-driven Marketing Specialist who can transform ideas into impactful marketing campaigns. This role is responsible for planning, proposing, coordinating, and overseeing integrated marketing initiatives across content production, social media, influencer marketing, PR, events, and brand activations.
The Marketing Specialist is expected to think beyond execution. They should be able to identify opportunities, develop campaign strategies, recommend creative directions, and present well-supported proposals to the Marketing Manager for approval. Once approved, they will lead the campaign from concept to completion by coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring every initiative is executed on time, on brand, and with excellence.
This role requires a proactive, resourceful, and highly organized marketer who can confidently lead projects, make sound recommendations, and collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop integrated marketing campaign proposals aligned with the brand's business and brand objectives.
- Research market trends, consumer insights, competitor activities, and industry best practices to identify marketing opportunities.
- Build campaign strategies, timelines, budgets, and execution plans for approval by the Marketing Manager.
- Present campaign concepts, creative recommendations, and execution plans supported
- by data and clear objectives.
- Continuously recommend initiatives that improve brand awareness, engagement, and business performance
Campaign Management & Execution
- Lead the execution of approved marketing campaigns from planning through post-campaign evaluation.
- Own campaign timelines and ensure all deliverables are completed according to schedule.
- Coordinate internal teams, external partners, agencies, suppliers, and creators to ensure seamless execution.
- Anticipate project risks, resolve challenges proactively, and maintain campaign quality throughout implementation.
- Ensure all marketing initiatives remain aligned with the brand's brand identity, messaging, and marketing objectives.
Content Production & In-House Advertising
- Lead the planning and coordination of in-house advertising campaigns, promotional videos, and branded content.
- Collaborate with the Creative & Production Marketing Associate in developing production briefs, shoot plans, content requirements, and production schedules.
- Coordinate talents, filming logistics, props, locations, and production requirements.
- Work closely with the Multimedia Team and Creative Supervisor to ensure creative assets meet campaign objectives and brand standards.
- Recommend creative concepts and content improvements that strengthen campaign performance.
User-Generated Content (UGC), Influencer Marketing & PR
- Lead the planning and coordination of UGC, influencer marketing, PR, and product seeding initiatives.
- Work closely with the Influencer Marketing & PR Associate to execute approved campaigns and ensure timely delivery of campaign requirements.
- Recommend creators, influencers, media partners, veterinarians, and brand collaborators aligned with campaign objectives
- Review creative briefs, monitor campaign deliverables, and evaluate campaign performance.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen creator relationships and improve campaign effectiveness.
Social Media Planning
- Develop monthly social media strategies that support marketing campaigns, product
- launches, and seasonal initiatives.
- Work closely with the Community & Social Media Associate to translate campaign plans
- into engaging content calendars and publishing schedules.
- Recommend content ideas based on audience insights, trends, and platform best
- practices.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimization strategies to improve engagement and reach.
Events & Brand Activations
- Lead the planning and coordination of the brand's participation in events, exhibitions, trade shows, and brand activations.
- Work closely with the Marketing Assistant - Events & Procurement to ensure timely procurement, supplier coordination, logistics, and event preparation.
- Review event plans, marketing materials, booth concepts, and activation requirements before execution.
- Prepare post-event evaluations and recommendations for future improvements.
- Prepare comprehensive post-campaign reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows, campaign execution, and overall marketing performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and recommend innovative marketing initiatives for the brand.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
The Marketing Specialist serves as the campaign lead and is responsible for coordinating the successful execution of marketing initiatives across different functions.
This role works closely with:
- Marketing Manager - Provides strategic direction, campaign approvals, budget alignment, and overall marketing leadership.
- Creative Supervisor - Ensures campaign concepts, creative direction, messaging, and visual execution aligns with the overall brand strategy.
- Creative & Production Marketing Associate - Executes production planning, shoot coordination, and content creation requirements.
- Influencer Marketing & PR Associate - Executes influencer partnerships, product seeding, PR initiatives, and creator communications.
- Community & Social Media Associate - Executes social media calendars, publishing, community engagement, and platform management.
- Marketing Assistant for Events & Procurement - Supports event logistics, procurement, supplier coordination, and operational requirements.
- Multimedia Artists - Produce graphic design, photography, videography, motion graphics, and other creative assets required for campaign execution.
- While the Marketing Specialist leads campaign planning, coordination, and execution, all major marketing strategies, budgets, and creative directions are subject to the approval of the Marketing Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing, brand management, campaign execution, or project management.
- Proven experience in content production, social media, influencer marketing, PR, and event marketing.
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to lead multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
