Role purpose
Yempo Solutions is looking for a hands‑on Marketing Operations & MarTech Executive to build, connect and operate the technology behind our sales and marketing activity.
We already have many of the tools we need, including HubSpot, Cognism, Mailchimp, Canva, AI tools and our WordPress website. What we need is someone who can make them work together properly, get more from them and turn sales and marketing ideas into working, measurable campaigns.
A major part of the role is helping Yempo find businesses at the point they have a problem we can solve. You will build and operate systems that identify organisations actively recruiting for IT, Accounting and Business Support roles by monitoring LinkedIn, job sites and company careers pages, then turn those hiring signals into useful, actionable opportunities for Sales.
This is a doer role. You will build workflows, clean and enrich data, connect systems, set up campaigns, test what you have built, fix what does not work and make sure genuine opportunities reach the right person quickly.
The objective is straightforward: use technology to help Yempo find the right company, with the right requirement, at the right time – then help Sales and Marketing turn that opportunity into a conversation.
Key Responsibilities
Build and operate Yempo’s recruitment-intent engine
- Create a repeatable process for identifying organisations actively recruiting for roles Yempo can support across IT, Accounting and Business Support.
- Monitor and capture relevant vacancies from LinkedIn, major job sites and target companies’ own careers pages.
- Match advertised vacancies against the roles and skills Yempo can provide through dedicated offshore team members in the Philippines.
- Identify the organisation, the relevant hiring requirement and the likely decision‑makers, including founders, MDs, CFOs, CIOs, CTOs, HR leaders and functional directors where appropriate.
- Use Cognism and other suitable sources to enrich account and contact data and feed qualified opportunities into HubSpot.
- Capture useful context such as advertised role, source, location, date found and vacancy status so outreach can be specific to the client’s actual need.
- Build workflows that trigger the appropriate Yempo outreach or alert Sales when immediate one‑to‑one contact makes more sense.
- Track whether vacancies remain open, disappear or change so Yempo does not continue prospecting against an outdated requirement.
- Develop this capability from targeted campaigns into a scalable, semi‑automated source of commercially relevant prospects across Yempo’s markets.
Make our MarTech stack work together
- Take day‑to‑day ownership of HubSpot and the wider sales and marketing technology stack.
- Connect Cognism, HubSpot, Mailchimp, the WordPress website and other tools so useful data moves between them.
- Build and maintain integrations using native connectors, APIs, webhooks or tools such as Zapier or Make where appropriate.
- Remove duplication, broken hand‑offs and manual workarounds.
- Get more from the systems Yempo already pays for before recommending additional software.
Build and operate campaigns
- Turn sales and marketing ideas into working campaigns across Accounting, IT and Business Support.
- Build target account and prospect segments using hiring intent, account data, website behaviour and other useful signals.
- Create tailored email and nurture activity based on the problem the prospect is actually showing, rather than generic mass outreach.
- Set up campaign logic, exclusions, suppression rules and hand‑offs.
- Test campaigns while they run, identify problems quickly and improve them without unnecessary implementation delay.Make sure positive replies and strong buying signals stop automation and move quickly to human follow‑up.
Make HubSpot work properly
- Build and maintain CRM properties, lifecycle stages, segmentation, workflows, forms, sequences and lead/account scoring.
- Make HubSpot the reliable commercial centre of Yempo’s sales and marketing activity.
- Create practical dashboards for pipeline, campaign performance, conversion, account activity and CRM health.
- Make HubSpot easy for Sales and Marketing to use and reduce unnecessary administration.
- Build a clear view from target account and identified hiring need through enquiry, opportunity, client and future growth.
Keep the data useful
- Maintain accurate, usable CRM data and sensible data standards.
- Use Cognism and other appropriate sources to enrich accounts and contacts.
- Manage deduplication, suppression, segmentation and lifecycle data.
- Support appropriate GDPR and email data processes.
- Help Yempo distinguish between a large database and a commercially useful one.
Connect website activity to sales activity
- Work with Yempo’s web developer to improve tracking across the WordPress website.
- Set up and test campaign tracking, forms, landing pages and conversion events.
- Connect useful website behaviour with HubSpot accounts, contacts and campaigns where possible.
- Help Sales understand which content, case studies, service pages and campaigns are creating genuine commercial interest.
Automate the right things
- Automate repetitive work where it makes Yempo faster, more consistent or more effective.
- Build workflows for data enrichment, role matching, segmentation, campaign enrolment, vacancy re‑checking, follow‑up, alerts, nurture and reporting.
- Keep important conversations human. Automation should surface genuine opportunities and hand them to Sales quickly, not trap them in another workflow.
- Document what you build so it can be understood, maintained and improved.
Measure what matters
- Track activity through to qualified opportunities and commercial outcomes.
- Show which hiring signals, audiences, roles, messages, content and channels are producing results.
- Identify where prospects drop out and where the process can be improved.
- Give Sales and Marketing clear information they can use to decide what to do more of, less of or differently.
Who you’ll work with
- You will sit at the centre of Yempo’s sales and marketing activity, working with people who already own strategy, content, design, web development and sales conversations.
- You will not be expected to write every email, design every asset or build every webpage. You will be expected to make the systems and processes behind them work and to get campaigns live without unnecessary delay.
- Comply with the Organization’s Information Security Management System (ISMS), including all applicable information security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
Skills & Experience
- Around three years or more of hands‑on experience in Marketing Operations, MarTech, CRM, Revenue Operations or a similar role.
- Strong practical HubSpot experience. You should be comfortable building workflows, properties, segmentation, forms, sequences, reports and integrations yourself.
- Experience building prospecting or intent workflows using job vacancies, web data, enrichment platforms or similar external signals would be particularly valuable.
- Experience connecting CRM, data enrichment, email and website platforms.
- Experience with APIs, webhooks, Zapier, Make or similar integration tools is valuable.
- Experience with Cognism, Mailchimp, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, WordPress, GA4, Canva and AI tools is useful, but you do not need to be an expert in all of them.
- Good analytical skills and enough commercial understanding to know why a campaign is being built, not just how.
- A practical mindset. You enjoy opening the tools, making things work, testing them and improving them.
- The confidence to spot a poor process and suggest a simpler one.
What this role is not
- It is not a people‑management role.
- It is not a job where you brief agencies and wait for them to execute.
- It is not primarily CRM housekeeping.
- It is not about building bigger prospect lists for the sake of it.
- It is not automation for automation’s sake.
