Job summary

eClerx is seeking an experienced accountant in Manila to handle journal entries, AP and AR transactions, and assist in producing monthly reports. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ideally CPA, and have at least 5 years of experience.

The role requires knowledge of accounting software such as SAP or QuickBooks and a strong attention to detail. Willingness to work shifting schedules, including graveyard shifts, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of journal entries and closing activities.
• Ensure accuracy of AP and AR transactions.
• Maintain and monitor the store’s AP and AR aging.
• Assist in generating monthly Payable and AR reports.
• Reconcile AR and AP's GL and SL.

• Responsible for the accuracy of AP and AR transactions
• Maintain and monitor the store’s AP and AR aging
• Assisting in the generation of monthly Payable and AR reports for the client’s Controller.
• Reconcile AR and AP’s GL and SL
• Performs other duties assigned by his/her superior.
• Analyze variances
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting graduate, preferably CPA with at least 5 years of experience
• Knowledgeable in accounting software, preferably SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero.
• Organized and with keen attention to detail
• Conversant in IFRS and US GAAP
• Must be willing to work in shifting schedules, including graveyard shifts
