Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks a Diploma/Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years in Quality Control and inspection across castings, forgings, fabrication and machining components. Must hold ASNT Level II and understand ASME/ASTM/EN standards, plus ISO internal audit exposure.

Responsibilities include preparing QAP, inspection checklists, and coordinating with customers and TPI agencies for clearance. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Graduate in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years in Quality Control and inspection of castings, forgings, fabrication and machining components.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QC and inspection of castings, forgings, fabrication and machining components.
• Prepare QAP, inspection checklists and manufacturing process plans.
• Liaise with customers and TPI inspection agencies for inspection and clearance.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, ASTM and EN standards.
• Act as ISO 9001/ISO 14000/ISO 45000 internal auditor (preferably).
• Maintain good communication and work well in a team.

Job Description

Applicant should be Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, with min 10 years' experience in Quality Control and inspection of Castings, Forgings, Fabrication and machining components.

• Should have process knowledge of Casting, Forging, and Fabrication.
• Should be Qualified ASNT level II certification in NDT techniques - VT , UT , MT, RT and PT .
• Should have experience in Preparation of QAP, Inspection checklist and Manufacturing Process Plan .
• Should have experience liaising with customer and TPI inspection agency for inspection and clearance .
• Should have knowledge of ASME , ASTM and EN standards.
• Should be an internal auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and ISO 45000 . Preferably at least one.
• Should have Good Communication skills and comfortable to work in team.
