Job summary

Tyco Electronics Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Quality Interface Engineer to ensure adherence to quality standards, manage customer complaints, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

You will support new product introductions, develop inspection plans, and collaborate on corrective actions to meet customer and production requirements. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering, 7–10 years in quality within electronics manufacturing, and strong knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in appropriate field or local equivalent with a minimum of 7-10 years of progressively responsible professional level experience.
• Minimum 6-7 years working experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment (electronics assemblies).
• Strong knowledge of core quality tools and ISO 9001 familiarity.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

The role serves as the key quality interface for customers, ensuring compliance with quality standards, managing complaints, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. It supports new product introductions, develops inspection plans, and collaborates on corrective actions, while also leading quality documentation and process reviews to uphold customer and operational requirements.

Job Requirements

Education, Technical Qualification & Experience

• Degree in Engineering or technical field with equivalent (process) engineering experience
• With at least 6-7 years (minimum) of working experience in the Quality department, with strong knowledge in manufacturing process and production environment (product: connector, semiconductor, electronics assemblies; process: Assembly, Molding, Stamping, Plating).
• Knowledge and application of core quality tools such as 8D, 7 QC tools, MSA, SPC, FACA, etc.
• With a good understanding of QMS standards (ISO 9001:2015, etc.).
• Strong background in problem solving, continuous improvement, process audits, and GD&T (nice to have).

Personal Attributes & Competencies

• With excellent oral communication and business correspondence writing skills (with good command of the English language)
• Strong sense of responsibility, collaboration, and teamwork.
• A self-starter can work with minimum supervision.
