Job summary

Accountstaff (EA) is seeking a seasoned Facilities Management leader to plan, direct, and optimize the operation of MEP systems across diverse facilities.

You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance, oversee ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building services, and manage the FM team, budgets, and vendor performance to ensure reliability, safety, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of integrated facilities management services with a focus on MEP systems.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize asset reliability and minimize downtime.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, water, and other building services systems.
• Lead and supervise Facilities Team.
• Conduct asset condition assessments, root cause analysis, and lifecycle replacement planning.
• Manage maintenance budgets, contracts, procurement, and vendor performance to achieve efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety, and quality management systems.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal teams on maintenance, upgrades, and project execution.
• Drive energy management and continuous improvement programs.
• Support business development, tender submissions, consultancy, and contract renewals.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Job description

Lead and manage the Facilities Management team, ensuring the effective operation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems. Drive service excellence, regulatory compliance, asset reliability, and client satisfaction across commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct asset condition assessments, root cause analysis, and implement improvement and lifecycle replacement plans.
• Manage maintenance budgets, contracts, procurement, and vendor performance to achieve operational and cost efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, workplace safety requirements, and quality management systems.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal teams on maintenance, upgrading, A&A works, and project execution.
• Drive energy management, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
• Support business development, tender submissions, technical consultancy, and contract renewals.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, commercial, and stakeholder management skills

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Facilities Management or MEP maintenance,
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building management systems (BMS).
• Experience managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, contracts, and multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
