Job summary

Watsons in Biñan, Laguna is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to ensure the Distribution Center operates in line with company policies on stock control, storage, and returns to suppliers, supporting sustainable business results.

The role focuses on reconciling stock, reducing shrinkage, tracking KPIs, coordinating with IT for SOH alignment, and leading cycle counts and reports for management review.

Responsibilities

• Validating reconciliations and recommendations in coherence to security and loss prevention systems
• Analyzing movements of inventory/products and determine proper and timely disposition for reconciling items and optimizing stocks (i.e. reduce slow moving items)
• Monitoring operational reports based on acceptable guidelines of ROS and GMS
• Pursuing measures to have alignment of physical and system stocks on hand to avoid shrinkage
• Preparing and creating reports as may be required by DC management and in compliance with regional requirements
• Plan, implement and manage procedures to optimize inventory control
• Tracking KPIs regularly and proactively implement actions for continuous improvements
• Overseeing all analysis and recommendations by Inventory Control, Storage and Return to Vendor Supervisors to ensure that the Dept is within its Shrinkage provision
• Ensuring system SOH are aligned. Escalating to IT until resolved.
• Leading the accurate and timely cycle count and stocktake. Ensuring alignment of SOH.
• Defining additional ways to improve inventory reconciliation.

The Inventory Control Manager is responsible in ensuring Distribution Center's Operation is in compliance with company policies and procedures particularly on Inventory control processes from storage of products , to return to suppliers to meet customer requirements and ensure business sustainability.
