Job summary

Universal Robina Corp in the Philippines seeks a Senior Cost Accounting Manager to lead the Center of Excellence for cost accounting and governance of inventory processes. You will supervise a team, ensuring accurate closing and timely reporting across plants and business units.

The role requires a CPA/CMA-eligible background, 5–7+ years in cost accounting, and strong Excel and SAP experience. You will coordinate with BU ISC finance, drive process improvements, and support audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 5–7+ years in cost and general accounting; 3+ years in leadership.
• Advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cost Accounting Center of Excellence and governance of cost accounting & inventory processes.
• Lead and supervise a team responsible for financial closing for all plants & BUs, ensuring timely reporting and SLA compliance.
• Review and validate account reconciliations and financial statements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA and/ or CMA is preferred.


• 5 to 7+ years of progressive cost and general accounting experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP).


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with strict attention to detail.


• Comfortable in fast paced environment and technology changes.


• 4-day work from office required.
