Baek Geum Philippines Corp. is seeking a cost analyst to support manufacturing finance and inventory costing. You will analyze direct costs, maintain standard costs, and perform variance analysis to guide management decisions.
The role requires strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics). You will collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse and Finance to optimize cost efficiency.
Analyze direct materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead costs.
Prepare and maintain product cost sheets and standard costing records.
Conduct monthly cost variance analysis (actual vs. standard/budget).
Generate cost reports and provide recommendations to management.
Monitor production expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Calculate and update standard costs for finished goods and work-in-process inventory.
Review inventory valuation and support cycle count and physical inventory activities.
Analyze material usage, scrap, rework, and production efficiency.
Monitor inventory movements and investigate cost discrepancies.
Assist in preparing annual manufacturing budgets and cost forecasts.
Monitor departmental spending against approved budgets.
Support financial planning and cost control initiatives.
Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance teams.
Evaluate production processes to improve cost efficiency.
Support new product costing and profitability analysis.
Participate in continuous improvement and productivity projects.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
Support internal and external audits related to inventory and costing.
Maintain accurate costing documentation and records.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Management Accounting, or related field.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in cost analysis, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Strong knowledge of: Standard Costing, Variance Analysis, Inventory Management, Budgeting and Forecasting, Cost Allocation Methods
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and report presentation skills.
