Job summary

The Laguna Creamery Inc in Biñan, Laguna invites a Cost Accounting Supervisor to lead the Cost Accounting Unit and uphold precise cost data, inventory records, and financial analysis to support business decisions.

You will develop standard costs and BOMs, oversee inventory controls, prepare cost reports, and partner with Operations and Marketing to drive cost efficiency across products and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA is preferred but not required.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Supervisory experience is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, standard costing, inventory management, and variance analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across different functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Training in Cost Accounting, Inventory Management, or ERP Systems is a plus.
  • Willing to conduct occasional field visits to production areas, warehouses, farms, retail stores, or other company sites for inventory-related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise cost accounting activities, ensuring accurate and reliable cost data.
  • Develop, review, and maintain standard costs, cost structures, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Oversee inventory management, cycle counts, and related internal controls to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyze cost reports, including Cost of Goods Manufactured and Sold, CVP, breakeven, and variance analyses.
  • Support budgeting, cost planning, product costing, and financial decision-making through detailed cost analysis.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and other departments on product innovations, formulation changes, and cost optimization initiatives.

Job description
