Goldilocks Bakeshop Inc. is seeking a senior finance leader for the plant to drive cost control, budgeting, and accurate financial reporting. You will oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and capital expenditure evaluation while partnering with plant operations to optimize performance.
The role requires 5–8 years in Finance/Accounting with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity, plus ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills. CPA is a plus.
Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, and physical inventory reconciliations.
Ensure accurate recording of plant transactions and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Partner with plant management to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational performance.
Review product costing and recommend actions to improve margins and profitability.
Manage the plant's annual budgeting and forecasting process.
Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Monitor capital expenditures and evaluate financial feasibility of plant projects.
Lead and develop the plant finance team and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with corporate finance, supply chain, operations, and other departments on financial matters.
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA is an advantage.
At least 5-8 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
Strong background in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and inventory management.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
Ability to work effectively with plant operations and cross-functional teams.
