Job summary

Virginia Food, Inc (VFI) is seeking a Management System Specialist in Compostela, Cebu to manage and improve our FSQMS and DRMS. You will support HACCP programs, traceability, recalls, allergen control, and related food-safety initiatives across departments.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant bachelor’s degree and strong documentation skills, with attention to detail and effective communication. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with opportunities to advance within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required or equivalent.
• Experience in food safety, quality assurance, quality control or related operations is preferred.
• Strong organization and document/records management skills are essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities are important.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve FSQMS to ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Handle DRMS by ensuring documents and records are properly created, controlled and stored.
• Support Food Safety Team activities including HACCP, traceability, recall, allergen control, and related programs.
• Conduct GMP/GWP inspections, hygiene checks, audits, and plant verifications for compliance.

Job description

MANGEMENT SYSTEM SPECIALIST

(Work base: Compostela, Cebu)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and Improve the Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS) to ensure compliance with company standards, FSCC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, legal and customer requirements.
• Handle the Document and Records Management System (DRMS) by ensuring documents and records are properly created, reviewed, controlled, stored, updated, retrieved and maintained across departments.
• Support Food Safety Team activities, including HACCP and hazard control plans, food safety verification, traceability, recall, allergen control, food defense, food fraud, and other assigned FSQMS programs.
• Conduct compliance and verification activities such as GMP/GWP inspections, personnel hygiene checks, document and records audits, and plant verification activities to support regulatory compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or any related field
• Preferably with experience in food safety, quality assurance, quality control, production, documentation, laboratory, internal audit, or food manufacturing operations
• Must be organized, and able to manage documents and records
• Must have strong critical skills or problem solving skills and attention to detail
• With excellent communication and interpersonal skills
