Job summary

Asia Brewery Incorporated in Laguna, Cabuyao, Philippines, seeks an experienced Quality Assurance leader to direct QA/QC and food safety programs across raw materials, in-process, and finished products.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of QA/QC/food safety experience in food and beverage manufacturing, with expertise in FSMS, QMS, and regulatory compliance. Strong English is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred (MBA, Food Science, or Quality Management).
• 10+ years QA/QC/food safety experience in food & beverage manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and control QA activities to ensure materials and finished products meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee FSQMS implementation and continuous improvement, and manage laboratory operations and product release.
• Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance (FDA) across supplier quality, traceability, and CAPA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for planning, leading, and controlling all Quality Assurance activities to ensure that raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-process, and finished products consistently meet quality, food safety, regulatory, and customer requirements. The role oversees the implementation and continuous improvement of the Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS), laboratory operations, manufacturing quality, aseptic operations, product release, supplier quality, traceability, non-conformance management, and audit compliance, while promoting a culture of quality excellence, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biology, Industrial Engineering, or related science/engineering field.

Preferred:

Master’s degree (MBA, Food Science, or Quality Management).

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of progressive QA, QC, or Food Safety experience within a food and beverage manufacturing environment.

Proven experience developing, implementing, and maintaining Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Multi-site management experience is an advantage.

Languages:

Advanced English (C1); Intermediate Spanish (B1–B2) is valuable.

Key Competencies:

FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, lab operations (microbiological, chemical, sensory), CAPA/Root Cause Analysis, regulatory compliance (FDA), SAP QM, aseptic processing, and internal/external auditing.
