Responsibilities

• Assist Major Account Sales Representatives with sales support: inquiries, quotes, proposals, vendor quotes, and availability checks.
• Process orders and supporting docs to Purchasing, including pricing requests, configurations, and lease docs.
• Update Salesforce with opportunities, cases, and validated opportunities and ensure accurate terms and reps assigned.
• Build and maintain customer relationships via phone, fax, email, and mail; respond to inquiries promptly.
• Upsell and cross-sell when opportunities arise; participate in bid pricing and special pricing as needed.
• Create and manage Salesforce reporting and ensure accurate opportunity validation.
• Stay current with product training, recalls, and new solutions; attend events to drive demand.
• Provide backup to Inside Sales teammates; participate in meetings and adhere to company policies.

SUMMARY

The Major Account Sales Assistant role responsible for accurate, timely and quality transactions of all products and solutions to company’s Sales Representatives that contribute to a high level of client satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Major Account Sales Representatives by performing sales support activities including product inquiry, preparing quotes, proposals, obtaining vendor quotes and checking availability of product.
• Process orders and supporting documentation which includes vendor quotes, special pricing requests, configurations, PO documentation, lease documentation, etc. to our Purchasing Department
• Administrative duties in Salesforce as needed such as creating new opportunities, cases, validation of closed opportunities having products, correct terms, assigning accurate sales rep, etc.
• Build customer relationships in a variety of ways, including answering client inquiries from phone, fax, email, and mail.
• Upsell and cross-sell when opportunities arise.
• Registration of accounts for NBO and special bid or big deal pricing as needed.
• Create and manage Salesforce reporting and validation of accurate opportunities.
• Maintain product training by staying current with products, technology, recalls, etc.
• Attend events to drive demand for company’s solutions and develop relationships with customers.
• Provide backup to other Inside Sales team members as needed.
• Attend required company and departmental meetings.
• Act in accordance with company policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
