Job summary

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. seeks a maintenance technician to support production lines by maintaining and calibrating equipment, and by designing jigs and poke-yoke devices to improve throughput and quality.

You will implement containment and corrective actions, follow updated standards, and promote safety across operations while collaborating with production teams to meet KPIs. 2–3 years experience in PCB assembly manufacturing preferred; willingness to work in Laguna/Cavite.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• 2–3 years of PCB Assembly Manufacturing; SMT or electronics manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of electronic component functions and applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willing to be assigned in Laguna / Cavite site.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production activities through equipment maintenance and calibration
• Design and fabricate jigs, fixtures, and poke-yoke mechanisms to enhance process efficiency
• Implement and monitor containment, corrective, and preventive actions to minimize rework and scrap
• Ensure compliance with updated manufacturing standards and specifications

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Apply problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Cause and Effect Diagram, 8D, FMEA) to identify root causes and recommend improvements

About the role

Provide hands-on support to the production line by maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting equipment. Drive improvements in productivity, delivery, and quality through the design and fabrication of poke-yoke systems, jigs, fixtures, and other process-enhancing tools. Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations and consistent achievement of KPIs.
