INGO Manufacturing Philippines Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to support our production line by setting up assembly jigs and equipment, and assisting with inspection tools.
You will troubleshoot issues, repair defective units, and help maintain production efficiency. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2+ years in plastic manufacturing or similar environments, and the ability to read technical drawings.
We are looking for an Assembly Technician to support our production operations by ensuring proper setup, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of assembly equipment, jigs, fixtures, and inspection tools. The role will also assist in identifying defects and implementing corrective actions to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
Set up assembly jigs, fixtures, tools, and equipment prior to production.
Troubleshoot technical problems and repair defective units from the assembly line.
Investigate defects, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Check and maintain assembly tools, equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
Monitor calibration requirements of inspection and testing equipment and coordinate with Quality.
Ensure completeness and correctness of components before assembly.
Coordinate defective components and bad material slips with the Quality team for appropriate action and supplier feedback.
Train and assist production operators in troubleshooting assembly defects.
Ensure compliance with approved repair procedures, quality standards, safety rules, and work instructions.
Provide technical support to the Production Team Leader and act as reliever when required.
At least High School Graduate; technical/vocational training is an advantage.
Preferably with 2 years or more experience in plastic manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly procedures.
Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good eye-hand coordination and attention to detail.
Physically fit and able to perform prolonged standing and occasional lifting.
Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
Willing to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
