Job summary

Compomax Tecgnology Philis is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance on CNC and manual machines, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, calibrate axes, and assist in installation and upgrades of new equipment. You will coordinate with QA and production teams to ensure precision and uptime.

The role requires hands-on experience with CNC equipment and a background in electrical and mechanical engineering or a related four-year degree.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairing and maintaining Japanese CNC milling machines with Fanuc controllers.
• Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree or four-year program with broad electrical & mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC machines, manual machines, compressors and other shop equipment according to maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues affecting machine performance and repair components, wiring, sensors, motors and control panels.
• Calibrate machine axes and alignment to ensure machining accuracy in coordination with the quality team.
• Assist with installation, setup and commissioning of new equipment; perform upgrades and modifications as required.
• Follow safety protocols when working with high voltage or moving components; ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, lubricants, tools and consumables; notify management of low stock or parts to order.
• Collaborate with production staff, CNC operators, QA staff and management; provide training to operators on basic equipment care; provide proper support to supervisor; perform other duties when assigned.

Preventive maintenance

1. 1.Perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC machines, manual machines, compressors, and other shop equipment according to maintenance schedules
2. 2. Replace worn or damaged parts such as belts, bearings, filters, and sensors.

Troubleshooting & Repairs

1. 1. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulic issues affecting machine performance.
2. 2. Repair or replace faulty components, wiring, sensor, motors and control panels.
3. 3. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Calibration & Alignment

1. 1. Calibrate machine axes and alignment to ensure machining accuracy.
2. 2. Assist in maintaining the accuracy of CNC equipment in coordination with the quality team.

Machine Installation & Upgrades

1. 1. Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment
2. 2. Perform machine upgrades and modifications as required.

Safety & Compliance

1. 1. Follow all safety protocols when working with high voltage or moving components
2. 2. Ensure all equipment is maintained in compliance with workplace safety and environmental standards.

Inventory & Tool Control

1. 1. Maintain inventory of spare parts, lubricants, maintenance tools, and consumables.
2. 2. Notify management of low stock or parts that require ordering.

Support & Collaboration

1. 1. Work closely with production staff, CNC operators, QA staff and management to understand machine performance issues.
2. 2. Provide training or guidance to operators on basic equipment care when needed
3. 3. Offer proper support and service to supervisor.
4. 4. Perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications

• Do have experience with repairing and maintaining Japanese CNC Milling machines with Fanuc Controller
• Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, or any four (4years) Degree Course with wide experiences in both electrical & mechanical.
