Job summary

INDORAMA VENTURES PACKAGING (PHILIPPINES) CORPORATION in Davao City is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee electrical and mechanical maintenance, ensuring equipment uptime and safety.

The role requires a licensed electrical engineer, supervisory experience, and ability to coordinate with production; willing to relocate; six-day shifts.

Qualifications

• College graduate of Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably Licensed Engineer.
• At least 2-3 years working experience in supervisory position in manufacturing.
• Experience with injection, CMM, water chiller, pumps, air compressor and cooling tower.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Able to lead and work as a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to relocate to Davao del Sur.
• Willing to shift (6 days a week).
• Can Start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair on electrical and mechanical equipment and facility.
• Attend to and oversee maintenance during emergencies.
• Coordinate with Production (Injection) for repairs in plant processes.
• Ensure maintenance by in-house and outside contractors complies with IVPPC standards.
• Conduct weekly safety and maintenance meetings.
• Establish/comply with GMP, HACCP, FSSC, Waste Management, OSHAS, Energy Management policies and SOP.

Job description

Responsible for effectiveness of the maintenance system in relation to productivity.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair work on electrical and mechanical equipment and facility of the plant.
• Attend to and oversee maintenance of equipment and plant facility during emergency.
• Coordinate with Production Department (Injection) all mechanical and electrical repair and activities in the plant processes/facilities.
• Ensure all maintenance and electrical repair and other engineering works done by in-house and outside contractors are in accordance with IVPPC standard.
• Conduct weekly meeting to discuss safety and other matters related to the maintenance department activities and objectives.
• To establish/comply to GMP, HACCP, FSSC, Waste Management (Solid & Hazardous), OSHAS, Energy Management policies and SOP.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• College graduate of Electrical Engineering course or equivalent
• Preferably Licensed Engineer
• At least five (2-3) years working experience in supervisory position in Manufacturing Industry
• With expertise in the operation of the following machines (Injection, CMM), water chiller, pumps, air compressor and cooling tower
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD is advantage
• Effective Leader and Team Player
• With good communication skills
• Amenable to work in Davao del Sur
• Willing to commute or relocate
• Shifting schedule (6 days in a week)
