Job summary

Interactive Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Santo Tomas City, Batangas, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a full-time on-site role. You will lead maintenance operations, oversee a team, and ensure facilities meet health, safety, and operational standards.

You will develop maintenance schedules, manage budgets, liaise with contractors, and maintain records while driving asset longevity and reducing downtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance operations or facility management.
• 2+ years in supervisory role.
• Knowledge of building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with maintenance records and CMMS.
• Health and safety regulations knowledge.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel within the facility premises as required.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join the team at Interactive Multi-Purpose Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Santo Tomas City, Batangas. As Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. You will oversee maintenance operations, lead a team of maintenance personnel, and ensure that all facilities meet health, safety and operational standards. This position is instrumental in minimising downtime, extending asset life, and maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of routine and preventative maintenance tasks
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards and areas requiring repairs or upgrades
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance programmes to maximise equipment longevity and operational efficiency
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs, prioritising urgent issues affecting operations or safety
• Maintain detailed maintenance records, logs and documentation for all work performed, equipment serviced and materials used
• Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses and procure necessary tools, equipment and materials within approved spending limits
• Train and mentor maintenance team members on proper procedures, safety protocols and equipment operation
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental standards and company policies across all maintenance operations
• Liaise with external contractors and vendors when specialist services are required
• Report regularly to management on maintenance activities, equipment status and any significant issues or recommendations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance operations or facility management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong technical knowledge of general building maintenance, mechanical systems, electrical systems and plumbing
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and respond to emergencies
• Proficiency in maintaining records and using maintenance management software or systems
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in facilities maintenance
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically about preventative maintenance and cost control
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the facility premises as required
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in maintenance management or related trades are highly desirable
