Interactive Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Santo Tomas, Batangas, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to maintain, repair, and service equipment to keep operations running smoothly. This full-time role requires hands-on problem solving and compliance with safety standards.

You will read technical drawings, perform preventative maintenance, record repairs, and coordinate with other teams to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or diploma in mechanical engineering, mechanical technology, or equivalent practical qualification.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and general mechanical principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems to identify faults and implement corrective solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on all mechanical equipment according to schedules.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical components with proper alignment and functionality.
• Conduct equipment testing and quality checks to ensure repairs meet standards.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and repair records for serviced equipment.
• Install new mechanical equipment and components per specifications and safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with other teams to minimise disruption to operations.
