Century Pacific Agricultural Ventures Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all conveyor systems and transfer equipment at the coconut manufacturing facility.
You will lead maintenance teams to minimize downtime and uphold food safety and occupational safety standards. The role requires overseeing preventive maintenance programs, enforcing LOTO procedures, and driving continuous improvement in equipment reliability.
About the role
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all conveyor systems and material transfer equipment within the coconut manufacturing facility. The role focuses on maintaining continuous product flow while ensuring strict compliance with food safety standards and occupational safety requirements. The supervisor also leads maintenance personnel to achieve high equipment reliability and zero-accident performance.
Key responsibilities
Supervise preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of belt conveyors, screw conveyors, inclined conveyors, chain conveyors, roller conveyors, and mechanical transfer systems
Ensure proper inspection, alignment, lubrication, and tensioning of belts, chains, and drive systems
Monitor condition of motors, gearboxes, bearings, rollers, pulleys, and structural supports
Lead troubleshooting and rapid repair of conveyor stoppages to minimize production downtime
Enforce strict Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities
Ensure all conveyors have proper guards, covers, pull cords, emergency stops, and safety interlocks
Conduct safety inspections and hazard identification for material handling systems
Lead toolbox meetings and safety orientations for maintenance personnel and contractors
Investigate conveyor-related incidents and implement corrective actions
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for conveyors and transfer systems
About you
Graduate of Mechanical Engineering; Licensed Engineer is an advantage
With relevant experience in food manufacturing or industrial maintenance
Knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, and GMP is an advantage
Computer literate with good communication skills
Strong leadership, teamwork, and adaptability
Highly analytical with strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills
Willing to work on a shifting schedule
