Job summary

Peotraco Food Inc. is seeking a maintenance professional to support and optimize processing lines, including screw conveyors, vertical form fill seal machines, and vibratory separators, ensuring compatibility with manual and semi-automatic operations.

The role involves preventive maintenance planning, collaboration with maintenance, production, and QA for troubleshooting, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives, safety compliance, and equipment installation/commissioning.

Job description

• Support the on-going optimization and maintenance of our processing lines, which include but not limited to screw conveyors, vertical form fill seal machines, and vibratory separators.
• Participate in the planning and execution of equipment upgrades for our processing lines, ensuring compatibility with existing manual and/or semi-automatic operations.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team, production department, and quality assurance department to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues impacting production efficiency and product quality.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all mechanical equipment.
• Prepare technical reports, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage and participate in the procurement of spare parts and equipment as needed.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team in the routine inspection of production machines.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team in dealing with unplanned breakdown and repairs.
• Participate in job orientation of newly hired production workers to ensure they follow and understand the work instruction in compliance with food safety.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.
