Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to deliver technical and maintenance services for office spaces, ensuring safety and security compliance.

You will work on electrical, air conditioning and plumbing systems, perform fault finding, testing, maintenance and repair, and read drawings and manuals to guide tasks. A strong teamwork mindset and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years experience in Building maintenance and corporate office setting.
• Experience with electrical and aircon systems including fault finding, testing, maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work in a team and train others.
• Willing to work outside normal hours and be available for emergencies.
• Strong communication and instruction-following.
• Interest in energy management and building management systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand and work on electrical/aircon/plumbing systems including fault finding and repair.
• Adhere to building guidelines and company standards.
• Inspect, identify and determine extent of works, use appropriate tools.
• Read electrical drawings and manuals.
• Use tools safely and operate maintenance equipment.
• Erect/dismantle scaffolding, ladders and platforms.
• Monitor stock levels and notify supervisor of shortages.
• Ensure service delivery meets SLAs and schedules.
• Respond to customer requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Monitor installed equipment and provide after-hours support.
• Perform administrative duties (time sheets, forms, checklists).

Job description

The Facilities Maintenance is responsible for the delivery of the Technical and maintenance services of office accommodation, security and safety.

What You’ll Do:

• Understand and competently work on a wide range of electrical/Aircon/Plumbing systems including fault finding, testing, alteration, maintenance and repair.
• Understand and comply with all relevant Building Guidelines and company standards
• Safely inspect, identify and determine the extent of all allocated works and use appropriate techniques, materials and tools to undertake the works carried out by a multi-skilled technician
• Adequately read and interpret electrical drawings and instruction manuals.
• Safely and competently use tools and equipment associated with the electrical trade and general maintenance activities undertaken by the maintenance team
• Safely erect, work off and dismantle various types of scaffolding, ladders and platforms normally used for the purpose of carrying out works etc.
• To monitor material and tool stock levels ensuring adequate maintenance supplies is available advising Facilities Assistant or Supervisor of any fall short.
• Ensure that service delivery always meets the requirements of the service level agreements (SLAs) and work schedules.
• Respond to and follow customer requests, concerns and problems to the customer’s satisfaction related to FM. Perform PM & predictive maintenance.
• Carry out monitoring and testing of installed equipment, including some out of hours cover.
• Undertake administrative duties as required by the role. This includes time sheets, test forms, Preventive Maintenance, Daily checklist and other aspects of the works required.

What You Need to Have:

• At least 4 years experience in Building maintenance and corporate office setting
• Experienced working on a wide range of electrical & aircon systems including fault finding, testing, alteration, maintenance and repair
• Recognize the importance of ‘teamwork’ in achieving objectives
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Demonstrate the ability to develop new skills, train others and provide training to fellow team members.
• Having a flexible attitude to work is essential as he will be required to work outside of their normal working hours, depending upon the scheduling of work and must make themselves reasonably available for emergency call outs.
• Demonstrate a positive, proactive and flexible approach in delivering a high quality customer-focused service
• Have an understanding and interest in energy management, sustainability and building management systems.
• Able to be flexible and responsive to the needs of the role including assisting other trades, 3rd party vendor or other plumbing/civil works if required
• Able to communicate effectively and to follow instructions
