Job summary

ATOS Information Technology Inc. is seeking a Mainframe Developer for essential development, testing, and support of business-critical mainframe applications.

You will work with COBOL, DB2, JCL, and IMS DB/DC to deliver stable solutions and timely issue resolution. You will engage with business and technical teams to analyze requirements, design test scenarios, and resolve production issues while maintaining high system reliability.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in mainframe development, testing, or application support.
• Strong hands-on COBOL, DB2, JCL, IMS DB/DC experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and IMS DB/DC.
• Provide Level 2 application and production support for business-critical mainframe systems.
• Analyze requirements and translate into technical solutions and test cases.
• Design, review, and execute test scenarios to validate changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, batch, and production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and recommend actions.
• Support test data identification, data mining, and validation via SQL queries.
• Coordinate with onsite/offshore teams to meet delivery timelines and satisfaction.
