Job summary

IT Managers Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of mainframe applications. The ideal candidate should have strong COBOL experience and hands-on knowledge of both online and batch programming environments.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a Mainframe Developer.
Proficient in Mainframe COBOL.
Knowledge of CICS.
Experience with OS/390.
Familiarity with ISPF/PDF.
Familiarity with SDSF.
Experience with COBOL online and batch programming.
Experience with Batch Run / Zeke Scheduler.
Knowledge of Web Services.
Experience in mainframe development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with technical and project teams.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL.
Perform online and batch programming.
Support batch processing and scheduling using Zeke Scheduler.
Monitor and troubleshoot mainframe jobs using SDSF.
Work with CICS applications and related mainframe environments.
Analyze and resolve application issues and production incidents.
Support system integration and Web Service requirements.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and project teams to deliver system enhancements and fixes.
