Qualifications

• Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM.
• Strong experience with CICS and online transaction processing.
• Good understanding of mainframe architecture and batch processing.
• Experience in SQL and database design (DB2 preferred).
• Knowledge of job scheduling tools like Control-M, CA7, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with version control tools and change management processes.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications.
• Analyze requirements and translate into technical design and specs.
• Perform coding, unit testing, system testing, and UAT support.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Work on batch job scheduling, monitoring, and optimization.
