Job summary

Radii Global in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Mainframe/COBOL Developer to join our IT team. You will develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL-based applications in a mainframe environment and support ongoing operations.

This hybrid role (2 days onsite, 3 days work-from-home) targets a professional with at least three years in mainframe development, strong COBOL skills, and proven debugging, testing, and troubleshooting abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mainframe/COBOL Developer.
• Strong hands-on COBOL programming experience.
• Experience working in a mainframe environment.
• Knowledge of mainframe development and application support processes.
• Experience with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL-based mainframe applications.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and application support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and system issues.
• Perform program modifications and enhancements based on business requirements.
• Work with other developers, business analysts, testers, and technical teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and support system implementation activities.
• Ensure applications meet quality, performance, and coding standards.

About you

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mainframe/COBOL Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience in COBOL programming.

Willing to work on a 2:00 PM - 12:00 MN shift.

Willing to follow the 2 days onsite / 3 days WFH hybrid setup.
