Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a skilled mechanical engineering professional to oversee daily machine loading and optimal utilization of machine shop resources. You will use calibrated measuring instruments, maintain inspection records, and manage SAP transactions while guiding technicians to sustain quality and productivity.

CNC programs will be verified with tooling knowledge, and TPM/5S/Safety practices will drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in loading and optimum utilization of machine shop resources.
• Ability to use calibrated measuring instruments and maintain records.
• Prepare and update departmental work instructions and procedures.
• Supervise technicians to maintain quality and productivity.
• Verify CNC programs with tooling knowledge and AutoCAD.
• Apply TPM, 5S and Safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily machine loading and optimum utilization of shop resources.
• Maintain and report damaged tools and inspection records for machining dimensions.
• Prepare and update departmental work instructions and procedures.
• Supervise technicians to maintain quality and productivity.
• Verify and edit CNC programs with tooling knowledge.
• Participate in risk assessments and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage Job Time Cards and SAP transactions.
• Apply problem-solving and root-cause analysis to resolve deviations.

Job Description

Responsible for ensuring daily machine loading and optimum utilization of machine shop resources, use of calibrated measuring instruments, reporting and record maintenance of damaged tools, completion of inspection reports for all machining dimensions, and monitoring of daily consumable usage. Also responsible for preparing and updating departmental work instructions and procedures, supervising technicians' work to maintain quality and productivity, verifying and editing CNC programs with knowledge of tooling and AutoCAD, participating in risk assessment activities, managing Job Time Cards and SAP transactions, and applying problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques to resolve process deviations and drive continuous improvement. Capable to take decision-making, problem-solving skill. Knowledge of TPM, 5S ,Safety.
